Come celebrate the longest night of the year! BIYA BIYA Productions and Shokoufeh present YALDA NIGHT LIFE, a winter solstice celebration ft. live music, dance, and djs.

Meet us at the California Clipper to steep in some SWANA sound and movement as we gather to keep warm and cherish the triumph of light over darkness. 

Our night opens with the smooth Iranian artist Farnaz Khoshsirat, bringing a traditional Persian sound with a soulful twist. The queer-fronted ensemble TAYF headlines with music focusing on the spirit of tarab—musical ecstasy. 

DJ sets from A. Parssi and Gigi Sai3d will move things to the dancefloor. They’ll bring up the energy as they lead us into the first hours of the solstice.

Interspersed through the sets will be raqs sharqi, or belly dance, performances from Yasmeen with a special midnight solstice moment!
